After discussing my current work, a few things have been brought surface.

-Thinking about transparency of the tarp.

-Work on the scale of tarp & objects covered. How big can it go? How dirty & uncomfortable can the work get.

-CIVIC prints touched on something.

-Think about flatness of material when it is applied to an object. Maybe revisit collages.

-Visit the idea of bales of tarp or card. Raw forms in huge stacks.

During this conversation i broke from the studio to make a work using tarp & a rope. This 5 minute sculpture contributes to a wider context of using this same material.
